This paper describes the use of artificial intelligence methods for the adaptation of simulation model parameter, which varies during the course of simulation. These methods have been used for continuous function approximation. Application is demonstrated on adaptation of the induction motor simulation model parameter, which varies with changes of magnetic characteristics.
