Forms of Booking on-demand Transport
Original language description
This paper explores the interaction between passengers and flexible transport systems, and the characteristics of flexible transport systems that are important to users. Flexible transport systems established in the Czech Republic since 2023 are presented and their parameters defined. Based on these parameters, evaluation criteria are defined and assigned weights using the Saaty method. The criteria are then divided into groups based on similar characteristics and weights. The output of the Saaty method provides results for evaluating and implementing flexible transport systems. For the analysis of a given area, the authors recommend conducting a SWOT analysis, the results of which can be used for the considered areas of on-demand transport implementation. Subsequently, the findings of the paper can be applied. The paper focuses on operation in peripheral areas or during off-peak hours. The aim of the paper is to assess the differences between the interaction of individual transport systems with users, and to propose recommendations for existing and new flexible transport systems.
