The Faculty of Health Studies cooperates on a long-term basis with 5 hospitals in the East Bohemia region which are joined into one joint-stock company. One of the topics of mutual cooperation is focused on nursing competency management. The Lenburg COPA model of nursing competency appeals as suitable model. The success of model implementation requires an information system architecture that meets the main criteria for safe operation. This article brings a propsal information system architecture for competency model implementation.
