Selective Carpus Denervation – One of Treatment Options of Madelung Deformity

Case presentation of 7 years follow up of female patient with wrist arthritis caused by Madelung deformity. As causal treatment remains unknown, the pain reduction by means of selective wrist denervation is one possible option.

Präsentiert wird eine Kasuistik eines 7-jährigen Verlaufes einer Patientin mit Handgelenksarthrose bedingt durch Madelung- Deformität. Da kausale Therapieansätze nicht verfügbar sind, verbleibt dem behandelnden Chirurgen nur die Option der Verbesserung der Schmerzsituation, die durch selektive Denervierung möglich ist.
