Agent-Based Software Framework Supporting Fast Modeling of Service Systems for Repast Simphony 2
Original language description
This article is focused on framework description and its universal concept applicable in all agent-based simulations where the simulations contain service systems. The developed software framework called RepastS freely extends the possibilities of agent-based simulation platform Repast Simphony 2.0. The main idea of the framework is to solve the problem of quick construction and follow-up simple reconfiguration of service systems in agent-based simulation model. In general, it is efficient to use the framework concept in models where the combination of individual agent autonomous behaviour and detachable service system can be found. These parts of the system usually show some specific characteristics such as the same rules for all agents and the direction of subsystems by the rules of the service system, not by individual agent behaviour.
