OFDM channel modelling for railway corridors
Original language description
The paper deals with the modeling of the mobile communication system for a railway corridor. In the case of severe multipath effects and of fast moving trains the standard methods, based on amplitude time equalization, show large errors. Thus, two methods of using the equalization in the time domain are proposed. For this purpose the signal propagation model describing the situation near the base station is designed. The described methods lead to a better reduction in the amplitude fluctuation of signal, propagating between the base station and the receiver situated on the high speed moving train.
