Original language description
The aim of this article is to introduce a virtualization platform comparison. Emphasis is focused on performance parameters of different hosting and hosted operating systems. The key benefits of virtualization are described firstly. Selected virtualization platforms and major features of these platforms are introduced in the second part. Then a methodology of testing and an overview of the selected tools for testing are introduced. Emphasis is focused on the set of CPU test, RAM test, HDD test, etc. The results and comparison of the selected virtualization platforms, which is based on the performed tests, are described in the last part.
