Classical Processing of Attenuation on Alphasat Satellite Link in Prague

  • Original language description

In this contribution we calculate rain attenuation by different models of prediction. Then we compare model results with the measured attenuation on satellite link Alphasat-there are two beacon receivers at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics (IAP) in Prague (Czech Republic), which measures attenuation at 19 and 39 GHz. The fit between measured attenuation and predicted one was tested through the RMSE method.
