Original language description

This contribution deals with the non-traditional ways of flood control represented by restoration of natural and creation of artificial retention basins, restoration and control of polyfunctional natural and artificial wetlands, use of positive buffer zone effect of small water reservoirs, hydromelioration facilities, water and wetland refuges. Non-traditional ways of rainwater disposal mean rainwater infiltration from infiltration tanks, seepage ditches and depressions to groundwater and further rainwaater use.
