    An experimental- analytical procedure for size effect prediction of modulus of rupture is proposed. The procedure is based on experimental testing of beams of two sufficiently different sizes. The proposed method is based on a recently established size effect formula that describes both the deterministic-energetic size effect caused by stress redistribution within the cross section due to finite size of the boundary layer of cracking at the tensile face of beam, and the classical Weibull-type statisticaal size effect due to randomness of the local strength of material. Numerical examples show feasibility of the approach to consider size effect in testing and design of concrete structures.
