    The article describes preparation, performance, and evaluation of the static loading tests of the reinforced concrete girders subjected to pure torsion. In the following, the article describes design of trials material characteristics exams of concrete and reinforcing bars used at makin reinforced concrete girders. The bearing capacity limits of the reinforced concrete girders obtained by experimental testing are compared to the values received from numerical computation. The numerical analyses are perfformed with the use CSN 731201 and EC2 design code and with the use of ATENA and ANSYS system.
