The changes in properties, which the construction materials undergo during this period, are extremely difficult to keep truck of and the same holds for the assessment of the causes their degradation. One of the recent diagbostic methods evaluating the actual state of the concrete surface layer is the structure permeability method for air. The method theoretically developed J.R.Torrent, who also assisted at manufacturing od an excellent device TPT Torrent Permeability Tester. It is relatively a new, nonndestructive method, applicable bothe in the laboratory and on construction site. The contribution will describe the test results from application different admixture on the air permeability of concrete surface layers.
