The true-to-scale 1:2880 cadastral maps digitizing is just for many years one of main targets of Czech cadastre. One of the most alluded solution of this problem is vector-based cadastral maps creation by digitizing of existing cadastral maps raster-files and raster-files of earlier land records. Cadastral maps true-to-scale 1:2880 were on the major area of Czech Republic located in one of two coordinate systems, i.e. in St. Stephen datum, or Gusterberg datum. The article is oriented to lay problems, which can occur during cadastral maps digitizing on the boundary of these coordinate systems, setting analysis procedures and opportunities to solve cadastral maps digitizing in mentioned locality.
