  • Original language description

    A biochemically modified sodium silicate solution forms a waterproofing layer in a concrete surface that provides long-term durability against water and salt solutions. It penetrates into concrete and reacts with calcium hydroxide and water to form a calcium silicate gel complex in cracks and pores. Properties of the surface waterproofing layer such as compressive, tensile strengths and the cumulative volume of pores are described.

    Biochemicky modifikovaná silikátová hydroizolace tvoří v povrchu betonu silikátové produkty, které utěsňují trhliny do 2 mm šířky a větší póry v povrchu betonu. V práci je věnována pozornost změně pórové struktury a mechanickým vlastnostem povrchové vrstvy betonu, ošetřené hydroizolačním nástřikem.
