The bridges are described in terms of their architectural and structural solution and method of construction. Tdhe paper presents concrete and composite overpasses, vidaucts, long span bridges, arch bridges, cable-supported bridges and pedestrian bridges. New designs using high strength concrete are also discussed.

Navrhování mostů je popsáno z hlediska architektonického, konstrukčního a metodou výstavby. Jsou uvedeny příklady návrhů a realizací obloukových mostů, vidaduktů, nadjezdů, lávek pro lpěší, mostů s velkým rozpětím, zavěšených mostů, ap. Je také diskutován návrh konstrukcí využívající vysokopevnostní beton.
