The paper deals with numerical simulation of dynamic loading tests of a steel arch bridge structure. The dynamic response of bridge structure subjected to moving vehicles is complicated. This is because the dynamic effects induced by traversing vehicleson the bridge are greatly influenced by the interaction between vehicles and the bridge structure. The analysis using a sophisticated FEM-based computation model of vehicle and bridge structure. Results are compared with experimental results obtained inthe course of dynamic loading tests of the bridge.
