Increase of durability of reinforced concrete structures
Original language description
In order to increase the durability of reinforced concrete structures is offered possibility to use industrial waste materials as fillers to epoxy resin-based repair materials. This is the main aim of the paper. Following industrial waste materials: waste foundry sand and blast furnace slag were used in the research. The best combinations of epoxy resins with industrial waste materials are looked for, in order to meet, for the final new materials, the requirements of present building industry. Researchdescribed in this paper is connected with the previous research performed at the Institute of Technology of Building Materials and Components, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic. Research at this Institute is trying to use industrial waste materials in the production of new building materials. These newly developed materials should protect bridge reinforced concrete structures, which are exposed to aggressive environment, against corrosion of reinf
