VARIOUS APPROACHES TO ACCURACY TESTING OF DIGITAL CADASTRAL MAPS
Original language description
Digital cadastral map (DKM) is an essential part of Real Estate Cadastre. Not only creation of new maps but also testing of their accuracy is necessary. Accuracy testing of digital cadastral maps is supposed to follow corresponding provisions of the lawand the application-of-law Ordinance (hereinafter referred to as the Ordinance). According to the authors, the procedure described in the Ordinance contradicts statistical principles commonly used in surveying, especially the theory of errors. The procedure prescribed by the Ordinance is discussed and an alternative testing method respecting statistical principles is proposed in this paper. Both methods were used for accuracy testing of digital cadastral maps in two cadastral areas (Miroslav and Moravsky Krumlov). The paper evaluates the quality of maps in these cadastral areas and, above all, compares two methods of accuracy testing.
