The topic of present paper is the study of fuzzy uncertainty of the failure probability of steel strut due to the fuzzy uncertainty of correlation lengths of random fields. The random fields have been applied for modelling the shape variability of the beam axis shape initial curvature. The fuzzification process of correlation lengths, the application of methods of fuzzy sets theory and defuzzification are presented. This example demonstrates an analysis of the complex fuzzy-stochastic uncertainty whichis relevant for the solution of complicated systems.
