The paper deals withh inverse analysis of loading the frame of walking undercarriage of the giant machine for the development of brown coal on the open mine Bilina. Artificial neural network has trained using virtually simulated random loading and displacements based on the undercarriage frame model. Elastic model cantaining shell and 3D elements was developed using FEM program SYSTUS. Measured data by certified IAM Laboratory was used.
