Modelling chemical anchors placed in concrete using different FEM systems
Original language description
This paper considers the practical application of nonlinear models in the analysis of anchor bolt additionally placed in concrete specimen. The model also consider epoxy surface. The results of some analyze performed using the concrete model of the general purpose finite element code Ansys and specialized Athena 2D and Athena 3D finite element code are presented and discussed. The mesh density and convergence stability are compared in single anchor case study. All model results are compared with experimentally obtained data.
