This procedure is for determination of the chloride migration coefficietn in concrete from non-steady-state migration experiments. The method is applicable to hardened specimens cast in the laboratory or drilled from field structures. The chloride migration coefficietn determined by the method is a measure of the resistance of the tested material to chloride penetration. This non-steady-state migration coefficient cannot be directly compared with chloride diffusion coefficients obtained from the other methods, such as the non-steady state immersion test or the steady-state migration test.
