    Super plasticizers of new generation on the base of PCE are remarkably changing kinetics of hydration reaction of concrete mix. Dependency of influence of superplaticizer on intensity of heat generation is given by its chemical nature and by macromolecular structure. Admixtures on the base of PCE in the most cases postpone beginning of hydration of binder in concrete. This paper focuses on dependency of intensity of hydration heat development of cement pastes with different types and amount of superplasticizers PCE and exploitation of research results for proper concrete mix design.
