Automated system for deflection of the vertical measurement is based on astronomical positioning system described in the article. Geodetical positioning with one-meter precision is not task today. New system for astronomical positioning was developed inDepartment of Geodesy, FAST, BUT in last year. It is designed as lightweight, portable system with automatic measurement and impersonal time registration. System hardware consists of total station Topcon GPT 9001A, CCD camera, GPS timing equipment and portable computer.
