The performance benchmarking analysis of water utilities is currently becoming topical also in the Czech Republic. The possibility of basic benchmarking of these utilities based on the IWA methodology is offered by the WaBe project (Water Benchmarking).The WaBe project is coordinated with the European project COST Action C18: Performance assessment of urban infrastructure services: the case of water supply, wastewater and solid waste. The objective of the WaBe project is to implement a system of IWA performance indicators and to develop a web application, which will be able to present and compare water utilities from Czech Republic.
