The paper focuses particularly on basic RBSO (Reliability-Based Structural Optimization) algorithm features and numerical comarisons between RBSO and DBSO (Deterministic-Based Structural Optimisation) algorithms for the studied problem. An example definition of an RBSO problem (conversion from a deterministic to a probabilistic problem) and its solution are presented on the optimization of a RC cross-section, which is subjected to the combinations of lnormal force and bending moments.

Příspěvek se zaměřuje na základní DBSO algoritmy a na numerické srovnání mezi RBSO a DBSO algoritmy pro studovaný problém. Je uvedena příkladná definice RBSO problému (konverze z deterministického na probabilistický problém) a jeho řešení je uvedeno na optimalizaci ŽB průřezu namáhaného kombinací normálové síly a ohybovým momentem.
