Original language description
Geopolymer material based on fly ash from high temperature combustion activated with alkali silicate is very cheap and suitable material for temporary and non-load-bearing structures. For the purposes of emergency application it is necessary to have drymixtures ready for mixing with water. Utilization of dried sodium silicate activator instead of aqueous solution considerably prolongs setting time. This paper presents application of C12A7 as a setting accelerator and its influence on the mechanical properties of hardened material.
