The monotonic and repeated loading tests of steel mechanical anchors post-installed to concrete
Original language description
In this paper the information about the experimental research oriented to the steel fasteners - the steel expansion anchors - post-installed to concrete are presented. There are two most frequent failure modes of these anchors under tension loading - concrete-cone failure or steel-bolt failure. Usually the load-carrying capacity of anchors under static (monotonic) loading only is known. These fastening members can be exposed to repeated (cyclic) loading too. Lately at our workplace the tests of the specimens under static and repeated tension loading have been realized. Subsequently the results of experimental verification of behaviour of steel expansion anchors under the repeated loading have been evaluated and compared with the static load-carrying capacity
