    FROST RESISTANCE OF LIME-POZZOLANA MORTARS

  • Original language description

    The frost resistance of lime plasters based on two kinds of hydrated lime modified by pozzolana Mefisto K05 and L05 is described in this article. The results of frost resistance show dependence on the sort of lime, sort of pozzolana, and on the lime-pozzolana ratio as well. Mortar made from the hydrated lime Čertovy Schody with pozzolana Mefisto L05 with the lime vs. pozzolana ratio 1:0.25 showed the best properties from the point of view of appropriate compressive strength and frost resistance.
