Possibilities of application of glass-fibre-concrete in composite steel-concrete beams
Original language description
The paper deals with some problems of glass-fibre-concrete (GFC) from the viewpoint of its material properties and possibilities of its application in members of composite steel-concrete structures subjected to bending moment. This paper presents a briefinformation on the current results of the research focused on the solution of two basic problems: experimental verification of GFC physic-mechanical properties and experimental verification of actual behaviour of composite steel-GFC beams compared withthe results of theoretical analysis, namely for the particular structural settings of the cross-section configuration typical for bending.
