Fastening of steel structural members to concrete using post-installed mechanical fasteners
Original language description
In this paper some problems of the actual behaviour and load-carrying capacity of members for the fastening of steel structures to concrete are discussed. The paper presents information on the experimental research programme oriented towards the verification of steel fasteners post-installed to concrete using the effect of mechanical interaction between both components (steel and concrete members). The observed fastening members tested under tension loading were subjected to static (monotonic) loading and to repeated (cyclic) loading actions as well. The data obtained from these experiments were evaluated utilizing methods based on statistical and probabilistic approaches. The results presented here also demonstrate the design resistance determinationusing methods of the design assisted by testing.
