Princip ladění přídavné hmoty pro snížení vibrací konstrukcí

  • Original language description

Tuned mass dampers (TMDs) are spring-mass or spring-mass-damper systems which can be added to a structure to reduce its vibration response. Contrary to active vibration suppression systems, which directly monitor the structural response and accordingly adjust their dynamic behaviour to reduce response over a wide frequency range, TMDs are passive devices which are effective only in a narrow frequency range. Adding a spring-mass system to an undamped SDOF structure, which was excited by a resonant sinusoidal force, would form a new 2DOF system in which the structural response would be completely eliminated in the case when the natural frequency of the absorber was the same as the one of the primary system. This paper describes theoretical equations of finding optima values.
