Original language description
The ultimate limit state sensitivity analysis of steel plane frames with columns under compression is presented in the paper. There is applied the Sobol's sensitivity analysis which enables to understand also the interaction effects among input quantities. Material and geometrical characteristics are considered to be random quantities according to the physic experimental research results. Attention is focused on an analysis of the influence of initial system imperfection introduced in the form of firsteigen mode of buckling. The Monte Carlo method is applied for the statistical analysis of the variance of load-carrying capacity. In the present paper, there are demonstrated the changes of sensitivity coefficients in dependence on system lengths of columns of two frames. The general aim of the paper is to enlarge the contemporary knowledge on the influence of input imperfections and their interactions on reliability of building structures.
