CONTEMPORARY APPROACHES TO SEIZMIC ANALYSIS OF TANK WITH FLUID
Original language description
Presented paper deals with a method of dynamic response solution of steel liquid storage tank. Dynamic analysis of a tank were carried on finite element computational model prepared in software ANSYS. Fluid-structure interaction is included in analysis.Fluid region is defined by finite elements determined for fluid content modeling. These elements are in conformity with Lagrange theory. Computational model was loaded by components of acceleration measured during earthquake occurrence. Dynamic responsewas obtained using full integration method of equation of motion. Results are shown in figures and graphs.
