Original language description
The dynamic analysis of the Francis turbine runner for HPP Burrendong includes the calculation of natural frequencis and modes of vibration of the runner in water environment. Consequently the dynamic response of the runner to water pressure pulsations has been analyzed. The vibratory response of the runner structure to the action of wate flow is solved as vibration of the structure near the equilibrium configuration in still water environment, excited by hydrodynamic load defined explicitly for water flowing around the runner in equilibrium configuration at rest.
