The article presents the main results of energy post occupancy evaluation of new student accommodation buildings in the campus of the UK Metropolitan Universities in Lancaster and Leeds. The students' accommodation complexes were designed and constructedin energy efficient architectural concept. The low energy consumption in the accommodation buildings satisfies high energy saving requirements. Results of energy balance of the building consumption of heat for central heating, domestic hot water, electricity consumption for artificial lighting and electric appliances as well as evaluation of water consumption monitoring were compared within the frame of the post-occupancy study based on more than three year-long monitoring period.
