HYDRAULIC AND ELECTRICAL CONDUCTIVITY OF SOILS
Original language description
When designing and implementing a work of construction, it is among else necessary to consider the action of water on the work of construction or on the rock environment that forms one functional unit with the work of construction. The interaction can take place in many ways. The ones affecting the technology of earthwork or the stability of the structure of the work being implemented, thus affecting the safety of its operation, are most serious. One of the variables describing the properties of the earth environment is hydraulic conductivity. The paper documents the inter-relationship between electrical conductivity (determined by the method of electrical impedance spectrometry) and hydraulic conductivity on selected soil samples.
