    Utilization of penetration needle for determination of rheological properties of fresh concrete

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with a new method of determination of consistency of fresh concrete. The method is based on depth of penetration of a penetration needle into a sample of fresh concrete under defined conditions. The method is distinguished by its simplicity and low demands for measurement technique. Therefore it can be easily used straight on-site. This method is appropriate in particular for highly plasticized concrete of higher strengths or for pumpcrete.
