    Determination of shear capacity of reinforced concrete is still highly debated issue among the scientific community by structural engineers. The reason is the complicated mechanism of shear violation and its high variability. This article tries to compare the design process for determining the shear capacity of reinforced concrete beam without shear reinforcement obtained by calculation according to EC2, CSA, ACI with the results of nonlinear FEM calculation using nonlinear material models of concrete and full probabilistic calculation. The full probabilistic calculation is based on numerical simulations of MC type. Values of shear capacity by code are compared with results actually performed load tests in the experimental research work.
