The ring stiffness simulation of the corrugated pipe
Original language description
The ring stiffness is determined by experiments for the thermoplastic sewerage pipe. The numerical simulation is convenient to use in the case of the new corrugated pipe design. The study verifies the comparison of numerical results with experiments. Thenumerical patterns were created by the ANSYS programme system for the certain polypropylene sewerage corrugated pipes of 160 mm and 400 mm external diameters. The obtained results of the ring stiffness are compared with the presented values of the makerand with the results of the classic solution by the formula.
