Construction application of wood-plastic composites and possibilities of using waste and secondary raw materials admixture
Original language description
This article describes a development of wood-plastic composite enriched with an admixture of chosen waste and secondary raw materials. First part of the article is focused on characterization of the material that is already produced in factories, on itsphysical and chemical aspects and utilization for constructional use. Second part is a search of possible waste and secondary raw materials that can not only reduce the price of final product, but also improve negative properties, that are typical for wood-plastic composites. Last part of the article deals with the practical testing of samples, prepared from optimized mixtures for chosen type of construction system, and the evaluation of acquired results.
