The possibilities of usage of waste materials and lightweight aggregate in development of cement-based materials for floors
Original language description
When the new composition of cement-based material for use in flooring is made, there is a big pressure to make it environmental friendly and cheap. To make this possible, there must be a lot of waste materials and by-products included into the composition. Also, there is a need to make the floor as lightweight as possible to prevent high static load of construction and to improve insulating properties of the floor. This article is oriented on both, lightening the surface layer of the floor and adding waste materials into the mixture to improve properties and reduce the price.
