Wood is a very popular natural material with a characteristic structure and texture. It enjoys great popularity, among others, in the building industry. One of the variables describing its properties is moisture content. Using the indirect measuring method of electrical impedance spectrometry, change in moisture content was monitored in the sections of wooden construction elements during their treatment against wood-boring insect by applying the thermo-remediation method. This paper shows an example ofthe results achieved in conjunction with the solution of thermo-remediation of the historical building of the Wesselsky watermill at Loucky near the Town of Odry in the Czech Republic.
