    Comparison of Double-K Fracture Model Results of Three-point Bending Tests of Concrete with and without Polypropylene Fibres

  • Original language description

    Evaluations of three-point bending fracture test of concrete specimens using double-K fracture model are presented in this paper. The main aim is the determination and comparison of mechanical/fracture parameter values of a composite both without and with polypropylene fibres FORTA FERRO of 54 mm length. It covers following parameters: the critical crack tip opening displacement, the fracture toughness and especially the stress intensity factor at level of crack propagation. The effectiveness of the useof polypropylene fibers of selected length and dosage in tested concrete is discussed.
