Original language description
Composite steel concrete slabs using corrugated steel sheet present a construction solution, which is especially suitable for horizontal structures such as floors or ceilings. Steel sheet is used as a permanent formwork and a load bearing member as well. For considering of such a composite action, mutual connection between steel sheet and concrete desk must be ensured. This paper is focused on cold-formed prestressed embossments, which serves as a connection members. Its real behaviour is observed in three different types of tests. Vacuum loading and four-point bending were performed on full scale specimens, following shear test was performed on small scale specimens. Obtained results are used to adjust numerical models of the shear behaviour of the prestressed embossments under loading.
