Design of Human ? Machine Interface for GNSS Devices
Original language description
The design of human-machine interface for devices to determining of position using global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) is the topic of this paper. The aim of this work is a simplifying of the existing complicated mechanism of setting of these devices and an allowing their full utilization as well for naive users. The top-down system approach is applied for integration of the GNSS device into the surveying environment. The design of interface is based on the theory of state machine with hierarchical states. The theory of fuzzy sets is used in the design because the values of system parameters exhibit a certain degree of uncertainty. Furthermore, a mathematical model of the surveying process was created and results of design are presented in the form of UML diagrams. Analysis and design of the interface are tested on a specific device called GRS-1 by Topcon Company.
