Comparison of environmental impacts - structural elements from secondary raw materials vs. common building materials
Original language description
This paper presents selected environmental impacts of production of thermally insulating composite material (TICM) developed at Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Civil Engineering, made of secondary raw materials and its application in form of structural elements (insulating blocks). In building constructions these blocks could be used for minimization of thermal bridges, especially in structural details exposed to high mechanical loads, such as the substructure below doors and windows, thermal insulation of the base of the wall, foundations or attics.
