Thermal Insulation Composite Material Based on Thermal Insulation Composite Material Based on Polymers - Determination of Water Absorption
Original language description
Composite materials are a modern solution for design engineering across technical disciplines. These composite materials obtain much of their versatility because they can be engineered to provide specific performance characteristics. Composite materialsbased on polymers: wood-polymer, wood fiber polymer, glass fiber polymer and polymer-clay, have attracted considerable attention of researchers in various fields thanks to their excellent physical and mechanical properties. The use of raw materials prepared by recycling reduces the environmental impact of their production. Experimental laboratory determination of water absorption of new designed composite material on the basis of secondary raw materials - polymer with porous glass elements, is one of the general characteristics of this material, which is assumed to be used in building industry as a thermal insulation block to break thermal bridges. Scientific output is focused on laboratory measurements of water absorption values for th
