    Wedge splitting test is a relatively new test method for determining fracture mechanics parameters of cement based composite materials by using cube- or cylinder-shaped specimens. In the study, an influence of the chosen finite element mesh on the fracture behavior of cementitious specimens subjected to the wedge splitting test is investigated via software ATENA 2D.
