Interaction between three-dimensional geosynthetics and root system of plants is used as a biotechnical method of bank stabilisation and their erosion protection. However, there isn t still enough research in the Czech Republic. The article contains establishment of reinforced grass carpets as a first step of research. Grass carpets were grown on location Černá Pole Arboretum and reservoir Bilovec.
